CONCORD – The New Hampshire Liquor Commission will host New Hampshire’s third annual Distiller’s Week, showcasing hundreds of the world’s best whiskies, tequilas, vodkas, rums, and more in a series of events from November 1 to November 5, 2021. The headline event of Distiller’s Week is the eighth annual Distiller’s Showcase of Premium Spirits, New England’s leading spirits tasting experience, which benefits the New Hampshire Food Bank.

Taking place Thursday, November 4, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Downtown, the Distiller’s Showcase of Premium Spirits features more than 700 premium and ultra-premium spirits poured by world-renowned distillers and brand ambassadors, along with delicious cuisine from New Hampshire’s best restaurants. “Anticipation is high for this year’s Distiller’s Week and Distiller’s Showcase of Premium Spirits, as we welcome back customers to the marquee spirits week of the year,” said NHLC Chairman Joseph Mollica. “Distiller’s Week offers customers multiple opportunities to sample some of the world’s best spirits and learn from leading distillers and brand ambassadors as they share their knowledge and passion for spirits – all while helping to end hunger in New Hampshire.”

In addition to the Distiller’s Showcase of Premium Spirits, Distiller’s Week will feature the following events:

Proceeds from the Distiller’s Showcase of Premium Spirits benefit the New Hampshire Food Bank, which serves as the only food bank in the state, working to provide nutritious food and resources to the thousands of New Hampshire residents who are food insecure. In 2020, the New Hampshire Food Bank distributed more than 17 million pounds of non-perishable food items, fresh produce, and meats to more than 400 nonprofit food agencies in all corners of New Hampshire.

“Food insecurity is a significant issue for so many of our friends and neighbors who rely on us and our network for soup kitchens and nutrition centers for their next meal,” said Eileen Liponis, Executive Director, New Hampshire Food Bank. “With the need continuing to grow and cost of food continuing to rise, partnerships like this with the New Hampshire Liquor Commission are more important now than ever. We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Distiller’s Showcase of Premium Spirits and encourage the public to attend, enjoy themselves and support ending hunger in New Hampshire.”
