NH Liquor Commission building new Liquor & Wine outlets in Claremont and Rindge

By Staff | Apr 18, 2021

CONCORD – The New Hampshire Liquor Commission is currently building a new NH Liquor & Wine Outlet in Claremont and will begin construction on a new NH Liquor & Wine Outlet in Rindge this summer, allowing NHLC to enhance the customer shopping experience, while also expanding on both Outlets’ selection of wines and spirits. The new Claremont NH Liquor & Wine Outlet will span 10,300 square feet, nearly doubling its floor space compared to the existing location. NHLC is relocating the Rindge NH Liquor & Wine Outlet to a 10,500-square-foot freestanding building on the same property as the current Outlet.

The Claremont Outlet, expected to open in July 2021, will be located on Washington Street and will feature approximately 3,600 wines and spirits. The new Rindge Outlet, located in the Cheshire Marketplace on Route 202, is expected to open Summer 2022 and will feature approximately 3,600 wines and spirits.

“We are pleased to be improving and expanding both Rindge and Claremont NH Liquor & Wine Outlets for our customers, the latest examples of our ongoing initiative to strengthen our brand and enhance our Outlet locations across New Hampshire through strategic renovations, relocations and new construction,” said NHLC Chairman Joseph Mollica. “These new Outlets will boast expanded product selections, an easy and comfortable shopping environment and the most competitive prices, and will play a major role in our mission to generate crucial revenue for the New Hampshire General Fund.”

Both the Claremont and Rindge NH Liquor & Wine Outlets will offer modern amenities, including temperature and humidity-controlled wine vaults, high-efficiency LED fixtures, a refrigerated case, and oversized aisles for social-distancing and easy shopping. The Claremont Outlet will also feature a state-of-the-art loading dock to improve deliveries.

The existing 5,500-square-foot Claremont NH Liquor & Wine Outlet is located on Washington Street in the Claremont Marketplace. The new Outlet will remain within the Claremont Marketplace, alongside Market Basket, Hobby Lobby, TJ Maxx, and other national retailers.

The new Rindge NH Liquor & Wine Outlet will also be relocated to a new, freestanding building within its current property, the Cheshire Marketplace on Route 202, alongside Market Basket, TD Bank and Verizon Wireless. NHLC is modeling the Outlet after the Warner NH Liquor & Wine Outlet.

NHLC is currently building brand-new Outlets in Littleton and New London that will open in late spring 2021 and recently announced plans to construct a 13,000-square-foot NH Liquor & Wine Outlet in Manchester, expected to open by the end of 2021. Since 2012, NHLC has renovated, relocated or constructed new NH Liquor & Wine Outlets in 34 communities.
