CONCORD – The New Hampshire Liquor Commission is launching the first New Hampshire Mocktail Month, in an ongoing partnership Brown-Forman, The Mocktail Project and Old Forester Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky to help create a safer, more inclusive drinking culture. During the month of January, more than two dozen restaurants throughout New Hampshire will feature specialty alcohol-free libations known as mocktails on menus.

During New Hampshire Mocktail Month, restaurants will offer craft mocktails for purchase, and customers are encouraged to share their experiences at participating venues by sharing pictures with the hashtag #nhmocktailmonth and tagging “@themocktailproject” and “@nhliquorwine” on social media. Additionally, a Mocktail Month recipe guide is available online at www.liquorandwineoutlets.com/responsibility with all the ingredients, garnishes and tips needed to create and enjoy craft mocktails from home.

“Promoting a safe and responsible drinking environment for our consumers is of the utmost importance to us,” said NHLC Chairman Joseph Mollica. “We are proud to launch New Hampshire Mocktail Month in partnership with Old Forester and The Mocktail Project, and as a continuation of our Live Free & Host Responsibly program, an ongoing collaboration with Brown-Forman to promote responsible consumption and service of alcohol.”
