NASHUA – Amer Khan, the new owner of the BP gas station and convenience store at 485 Amherst St., is planning a grand opening for the near future.

In addition to BP gasoline and diesel fuel, the store will carry drinks and “other typical convenience store products,” Khan said.

He is also planning to carry local foods, such as pastries from a local bakery, eggs and frozen yogurt.

“I don’t want this to just be a convenience store. I want this to be a local community store,” Khan said.

He said he is currently selling “the cheapest diesel in town” and offering customers complimentary

coffee, soda or water.
