Robert Christensen

HANOVER – Ledyard National Bank recently announced the promotion of Robert Christensen to senior vice president and commercial banking officer.

Christensen joined Ledyard National Bank in 2013 as vice president and commercial loan officer, coming from People’s United Bank, where he served as vice president and commercial loan officer. His prior career also includes nine years at Dartmouth College as associate director of real estate.

As senior vice president and commercial banking officer, Christensen serves the region’s business banking needs, overseeing business development and management of commercial banking accounts in the Upper Valley region of Vermont and New Hampshire.

“Bob is an invaluable asset to Ledyard’s Commercial Banking team. His promotion is recognition of his broad knowledge base, his ability to recognize the needs and goals of his clients, and his skill in crafting solutions to help his clients achieve their goals,” said William Kidder Jr., senior vice president and senior lending officer.

Christensen earned his MBA at Pennsylvania State University in University Park, and received his BS in Business Administration from Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont. He currently resides in Vermont.

Ledyard Financial Group Inc., headquartered in Hanover, is the holding company for Ledyard National Bank. Ledyard National Bank, founded in 1991, is a full-service community bank offering a broad range of banking, investment, tax and wealth management services.
