MERRIMACK – Brookstone is ushering in the 2011 holiday season by expanding its retail presence in New York City.

Brookstone will open three new locations Friday, bringing 150 new employees and a concierge service to the Big Apple.

The new Brookstone locations are on 34th Street, across from Macy’s, East 86th Street and Lexington Avenue, across from Best Buy, as well as a new location in Rockefeller Center on the concourse level, near the skating rink.

These three additions bring the total number of Brookstone locations in New York City to 13.

Brookstone celebrates the grand opening of the new locations Friday with festivities and discounts.

Brookstone also introduced a concierge service this year in Manhattan in which shoppers phone in with gift needs, and trained personal shoppers do the shopping and the delivery.
