HUDSON – Presstek Inc. finalized a partnership agreement with graphic art equipment specialist Reprograf, officials said Saturday.

Reprograf employs more than 80 people across 10 regional branches. It will distribute Presstek’s DI digital offset presses and related consumables within Poland.

“Poland is one of the key growth markets for print in Europe,” Axel Thien, Presstek’s business manager for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland said in a statement. “It’s important for Presstek to establish a strong presence in the region to capitalize on the growth opportunity and more effectively bring the efficiencies of DI printing to the Polish graphic arts market.”

Presstek’s digital offset solutions can bridge toner and conventional offset printing, allowing printers to meet increasing customer demand for high quality, short run color printing, with a fast turnaround time, in a cost-effective way.

“Even though we are seeing growth in the printing market here in Poland, it is a tough market just like elsewhere in the world,” Jolanta Kurowiak, president of Reprograf, said. “Customers want cost-efficient products that will not require them to compromise on quality.
