NASHUA – Southern New Hampshire Health held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its first retail pharmacy that recently opened at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

The full-service retail pharmacy focuses on serving residents, patients being discharged from the hospital and those who want a more personalized experience for ordering and picking up medication as well as counseling.

Residents do not need to be Southern Hampshire Health patients to have prescriptions filled at the pharmacy, which is open Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon. Most major insurance plans are accepted.

Residents can call 603-598-MEDS to discuss transferring their prescriptions.
