NASHUA – From Aug. 3-7, the Nashua Police Department took the following two individuals into custody for various drug crimes.

Shane Hirth, 36, was arrested and charged with operating after being certified as a habitual offender and transporting drugs in a motor vehicle. Hirth was released on personal recognizance bail. Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to eight years in prison, up to five years of probation and up to $6,000 in fines.

Miguel Letourneaut, 37, was arrested and charged with acts prohibited; possession of a controlled drug (methamphetamine) and deal/possess/prescription drugs. Letourneaut was held pending his arraignment in Hillsborough County Superior Court South. Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to eight years in prison, up to five years of probation and up to $6,000 in fines.
