NASHUA – Gate City Voices invites residents to attend Unite & Rise: Voting Rights Day of Action, a peaceful gathering dedicated to voter education, civic engagement and encouraging participation in our democracy.

The event will be held on Aug. 8 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument at the intersection of Amherst and Abbott streets.

Gate City Voices is pleased to welcome Elizabeth Tentarelli, president of the League of Women Voters New Hampshire, as the featured guest speaker. She has been a longtime advocate for voter education, civic participation and protecting the fundamental right to vote.

The event is designed to bring neighbors together in a welcoming environment to learn more about the importance of civic engagement, voter participation and ensuring every eligible voter has the information they need to make their voices heard.
