NASHUA – Abdiel Ross, 43, of Nashua, was taken into custody on July 28 for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a girl 28 years younger than him.

According to the Nashua Police Department, officers responded to 315 West Hollis St. for a well-being check. Upon arrival, police reportedly made contact with Ross and the 15-year-old girl. During the interaction, Ross reportedly told police that he was in a relationship with the girl.

Ross has been charged with four counts of felonious sexual assault.

He was held without bail and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on July 30.

Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 28 years in prison, up to 20 years of probation and up to $16,000 in fines.
