NASHUA – The Nash Casino set a New Hampshire record, donating $2.4 million to 12 nonprofit organizations on July 21.

“We at The Nash could not be happier that these worthy nonprofits, each caring for their communities through their various missions, can benefit from our record-setting month of charitable contributions,” said General Manager Eric Althaus. “We are always looking for ways to be more inclusive and partner with more nonprofits.”

The amount also breaks the casino’s prior donation record of $2.3 million which was set in March. This is the fourth consecutive month that The Nash has donated more than $2 million.

The two top recipients, each receiving $228,984, were the James E. Coffey American Legion Post 3 in Nashua and Advocates Building Lasting Equality in New Hampshire, based in Concord.

“This is a gamechanger,” said Louis Esposito, executive director of Advocates Building Lasting Equality in New Hampshire. “These funds will support our staff, program growth, transportation equity and education for differently abled students.”

Other top recipients included the Nashua Community Music School in Nashua, the New Hampshire Breast Cancer Coalition in Hudson, the Milford Jr. Spartans Youth Football and Cheer in Milford as well as the New Hampshire Hispanic Scholarship Fund in Nashua.

Since opening in March 2025, the casino has donated $28.3 million to nonprofit organizations throughout the Granite State.

In May 2025, the casino reported its first major payout with a blackjack player, identified only as Phouma, winning $155,220.

Six m months later, The Nash earned several distinctions in Strictly Slots Magazine’s Best of Slots Awards, including first place in The Casino Where You Feel Luckiest, Friendliest Casino, Best Nickel Slots and Best Slot Club Promotions categories.

In February of this year, the casino awarded more than $350,000 in jackpot winnings on Valentine’s Day, including what was believed to be the state’s largest progressive jackpot of $233,490 to Pai Gow player Anthony Hom.
