NASHUA – Harbor Homes recently received a $5,500 grant from the Bangor Savings Bank Foundation to support veteran housing.

These funds will also help cover the cost of food, transportation and employment-related expenses.

The grant is part of a larger $262,500 investment by Bangor Savings to assist 30 nonprofit organizations. Other recipients include Birchtree in Portsmouth, the Small Business Development Center in Durham and Seacoast Eat Local in Lee.

These grants reflect the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting organizations that help communities thrive and respond to the needs of people across the region. This quarter’s grant recipients represent a diverse range of programs and initiatives that address everyday challenges, create opportunities and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families throughout the region.
