NASHUA – The Nash Casino presented nearly $2.2 million in combined contributions to 12 New Hampshire nonprofit organizations on June 23.

This amount was accumulated from the combined revenues generated by games of chance, historical horse racing machines and video lottery terminals during the month of May and reflects the largest total amount raised by a charitable gaming venue in a single month.

“The Nash has consistently broken charitable gaming contribution records this spring, and we hope to continue the streak through the summer,” said General Manager Eric Althaus. “Each of the nonprofits we partner with are making a difference in their communities, and we are beyond proud to play a part in their mission of care and compassion.”

The past three months of gaming at The Nash have seen the largest contributions to nonprofits the casino has generated since opening, raising a combined $6.8 million in contributions. Throughout 15 months of operation, The Nash has generated a total of $25.8 million for New Hampshire nonprofits.

In December 2025, The Nash began offering five-day weeks to partnering nonprofits, down from seven days, in order to significantly increase the number of nonprofits served.

When Andrew Wegman, executive director of the Manchester Acupuncture Studio, first learned the amount of money his nonprofit was receiving, he said it took him two days to process the shocking figure.

“This check from The Nash gives us a sense of security in uncertain times,” Wegman said. “We are grateful for the opportunity to solidify our operations and continue to be of service to thousands of patients from across Merrimack Valley for years to come.”

Tanya Hart Newkirk, the executive director of the Greengard Center for Autism, said she was similarly caught off guard by the sizable check her organization received.

“This check is a life-changing gift for the community we serve,” she said. “It opens up possibilities we could have only imagined before.”
