HUDSON — Richard Feener, 70, of Hudson, was taken into custody on June 11 after allegedly using his car as a battering ram.

According to the Hudson Police Department, officers responded to the scene on Library Street and learned that Feener purposely used his vehicle to strike another vehicle several times.

Feener then allegedly got out of his vehicle and tried to enter the other car through the driver’s side door. Unable to do so, he returned to his vehicle and continued to hit the victim’s car. Feener then reportedly fled the scene. No injuries were reported.

When officers located Feener a short time later, they determined that his Blood Alcohol Concentration was twice the legal limit of 0.08 percent.

Feener has been charged with three counts of reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, aggravated driving while intoxicated, conduct after an accident and disorderly conduct.

He was scheduled to be arraigned in the Nashua District Court on June 12.

Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 23 years in prison, up to 15 years of probation, having his driver’s license suspended for up to two years and up to $15,000 in fines.
