Nashua man facing domestic violence charges

NASHUA – Zachary Wentworth, 36, of Nashua, was taken into custody on June 8 in connection with an alleged domestic violence incident.
According to the Nashua Police Department, on June 6, the victim reported that Wentworth had assaulted her several times and strangled her.
Wentworth has been charged with second degree assault, strangulation-domestic violence and five counts of domestic violence, simple assault.
He was held without bail and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on June 9.
Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 12 years in prison, up to five years of probation and up to $14,000 in fines.
