Nashua man charged with Midas burglary

NASHUA – Michael Roig, 35, of Nashua was taken into custody on May 28 in connection with an alleged burglary at Midas Muffler.

According to the Nashua Police Department, officers responded to 518 Amherst St. on May 21. An employee told them that the glass on the primary garage door was broken and that money had been taken from the cash register.

Detectives identified Roig as their suspect after reviewing footage from multiple surveillance cameras.

He has been charged with burglary and was held without bail. He was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on May 29.

Under state law, if convicted, Roig could face up to seven years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $4,000.
