NASHUA – Timothy Lemery, 35, of Nashua, was taken into custody on May 30 in connection with an alleged domestic violence incident.

According to the Nashua Police Department, officers responded to a home on Harbor Avenue on May 29 and found a woman suffering from several injuries. She reportedly told police that Lemery assaulted her and that two children were in the house.

Lemery allegedly refused to answer the door and officers had to force their way inside. He also ignored their commands to surrender.

He has been charged with second degree assault-domestic violence and two counts of resisting arrest.

Lemery was held without bail and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on June 1.

Under state law, if convicted, Lemery could face up to nine years in prison, up to five years of probation and up to $8,000 in fines.
