NASHUA — In response to resident feedback, the city will be hosting the Nashua Pride Parade on June 20 at 1:30 p.m.

“We heard from the community how important the parade is to them, so we’re happy to announce we’ve developed a plan to make it happen,” said Mayor James Donchess. “We look forward to an amazing festival at Holman Stadium and express our gratitude to the Downtown Nashua Association for their partnership in taking on this event.”

An alternative parade route has been created in collaboration with the Nashua Police Department and the Office of Emergency Management. The new route will allow expenses for the police detail and security to be covered by the remaining funds from prior Pride Festival donations.

The parade is scheduled to begin at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument at the intersection of Concord, Amherst and Nashville streets. It will proceed down Amherst Street and enter Holman Stadium via Don Newcombe Way, where the Pride Festival, hosted by the Downtown Nashua Association, will run from 2-7 p.m.
