NASHUA – Dennis Field, 25, of Hampton, was taken into custody on May 20 for allegedly stealing firearms from a Nashua apartment last September.

According to the Nashua Police Department, on Sept. 27, 2025, officers received a report that two firearms were taken from an apartment at 3 Myrtle St.

Through video surveillance, detectives identified Field as their suspect.

The day before he was arrested in Nashua, Field was arrested by Salem Police on unrelated charges.

For the alleged Nashua incident, Field has been charged with two counts of theft by unauthorized taking; firearm.

He was held on preventive detention and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on May 21.

Under state law, if convicted, Field could face up to 30 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $8,000 in fines.
