Nashua man charged with domestic violence

NASHUA – Daniel Cisz, 48, of Nashua, was taken into custody on May 15 after allegedly assaulting a woman.
According to the Nashua Police Department, on May 14, the victim came into the police station and reportedly told officers that Cisz had assaulted her a number of times. She also said he strangled her and threatened her with a knife.
Cisz has been charged with second degree assault, strangulation-domestic violence, domestic violence, criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, four counts of domestic violence-simple assault and obstructing the report of a crime.
Cisz was held without bail and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on May 18.
Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 19 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $18,000 in fines.
