Hudson sex offender fails to update status

HUDSON — Jeremy Menento, 39, of Hudson, was taken into custody on May 14 for allegedly failing to update his status as a sex offender.
According to the Hudson Police Department, Menento failed to provide officers with his new residence information.
Menento has been charged with failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements-subsequent offense.
Menento’s bail was set at $400. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on June 16.
Under state law, if convicted, Menento could face up to 15 years in prison, up to five years of probation, remaining on the Sex Offender Registry for up to an additional 10 years and a fine of up to $4,000.
