Nashua teen charged in Eaton Street shooting

NASHUA – Anger Peguero, 19, of Nashua, was taken into custody on May 3 in connection with an alleged shooting.
According to the Nashua Police Department, on May 2, officers responded to Eaton Street where they reportedly found a man with a nonlife-threatening gunshot wound to his leg.
Peguero was found a short time later while in a car with a woman. Police discovered that he was prohibited from having any contact with the woman as a result of a prior domestic dispute.
He has been charged with first degree assault, reckless conduct, felonious use of firearms and stalking.
Peguero was held without bail and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on May 4.
Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 30 years in prison, up to 15 years of probation and up to $15,000 in fines.
