Hudson man faces assault and drug charges

HUDSON — Jeremy Eberhard, 44, of Hudson, was taken into custody on April 19 in connection with an alleged assault.

According to the Hudson Police Department, Eberhard had fled the scene when police arrived. A short time later, the Drone Unit detected him in the woods. The Nashua Police K-9 Unit was also called in to assist and ultimately located Eberhard.

He has been charged with simple assault resulting in injury, two counts of possession of controlled drugs, criminal mischief, breach of bail and bench warrants for failure to appear.

He was scheduled to be arraigned on April 20 in Nashua District Court.

Under state law, if convicted, Eberhard could face up to 17 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $54,000 in fines.
