City woman facing domestic violence charges

NASHUA – Sarah McQuaid, 26, of Nashua, was taken into custody on May 4 in connection with an alleged domestic disturbance.

According to the Nashua Police Department, officers responded to 130 Kinsley St. and were reportedly told by the victim that McQuaid had hit him in the head with a metal bar and damaged his vehicle. He was subsequently treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.

McQuaid has been charged with second degree assault-domestic violence and criminal mischief.

She was held without bail and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on May 5.

Under state law, if convicted, she could face up to eight years in prison, up to five years of probation and up to $6,000 in fines.
