Nashua sex offender fails to update status, found with fentanyl

NASHUA – Peter Grieco, 63, of Nashua, was taken into custody on April 9 for alleged drug possession and failing to update his status as a sex offender.
According to the Nashua Police Department, on March 29, officers were conducting a series of “random spot checks” and discovered that Grieco had moved without providing police with his new address.
When Grieco was placed under arrest, officers also allegedly found him to be in possession of fentanyl.
He has been charged with duty to report and possession of a controlled drug.
Grieco was released on a $200 cash bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on May 14.
Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 14 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $8,000 in fines.
