LONDONDERRY – Jonathan Hankins, 31, of Londonderry, was taken into custody on April 8 on warrant charging him with possession of child sexual abuse images.

According to the Londonderry Police Department, the charges resulted from a long investigation, which included a search of Hankins’ residence on March 19.

He has been charged with 10 counts of possession of child sexual abuse images.

Hankins was held on preventative detention and was scheduled to be arraigned in Derry District Court on April 9.

Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 150 years in prison, up to 50 years of probation and up to $40,000 in fines.

Londonderry Police were assisted by the Windham Police Department and the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
