By Staff | Apr 7, 2026

NASHUA – The United Way of Greater Nashua will host a free, beginner-friendly workshop on online banking and money management at the YMCA of Greater Nashua on April 28 at 2 p.m.

Offered as part of the organization’s Confident Online series, the session will help participants feel safer and more confident managing their finances online.

Designed for community members of all experience levels, the workshop will introduce practical, easy-to-understand tools for handling everyday financial tasks online. Topics will include online banking basics, paying bills electronically, using budgeting tools and protecting personal and financial information from fraud and scams.

The session will be presented by Julie Beckham and Alka Sen of Rockland Trust Bank, who bring experience in consumer banking and financial education.

Thanks to the support of sponsors including Comcast, the Confident Online series helps ensure that digital literacy education is accessible to everyone in the Greater Nashua community.

Workshop topics will include understanding online and mobile banking tools, how to safely pay bills and manage accounts online, using digital budgeting and money management tools as well as tips for protecting personal and financial information and avoiding common scams.

Registration is available at https://unitedwaynashua.org/digital-literacy.

“Financial technology can feel overwhelming, especially when safety is a concern,” said Sara Ceaser, director of volunteer and community engagement. “This workshop offers clear, friendly guidance to help participants manage their money online with confidence and peace of mind.”
