Two arrested on drug and weapon charges
NASHUA – Xiomara Motta Rosa, 40, and Dakota Carey, 33, were taken into custody during the week of March 16 on alleged drug and weapons offenses.
According to the Nashua Police Department, Motta Rosa has been charged with reckless conduct with a deadly weapon. She was held on preventive detention pending her arraignment at Hillsborough County Superior Court South. Under state law, if convicted, she could face up to seven years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $4,000.
Carey has been charged with possession of a controlled drug subsequent offense (methamphetamine). He was released on personal recognizance pending his arraignment at Hillsborough County Superior Court South. Under state law, if convicted, Carey could face up to 15 years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $4,000.
