Londonderry man charged in reported stabbing

LONDONDERRY – Chandler Walden, 29, of Londonderry, was taken into custody on March 15 in connection with an alleged stabbing. 

According to the Londonderry Police Department, at 8:50 p.m., officers responded to a home on Chase Road and found two victims outside with several stab wounds. 

The victims said they knew Walden and that he went home after the confrontation. Walden was arrested a short time later. The victims were taken to a local hospital and were listed in serious condition. 

Walden has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of second degree assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of first degree assault with a deadly weapon, first degree assault with a deadly Weapon-domestic violence related and second degree assault resulting in serious bodily injury-domestic violence related.  

He was held at the Rockingham County House of Corrections and was scheduled to be arraigned in Derry District Court on March 16.

Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 96 years in prison, up to 40 years of probation and up to $32,000 in fines.
