Massachusetts woman crashes into Sun Plaza, charged with DUI

NASHUA – Amanda Hall, 38, of Lowell, Mass., was taken into custody on March 14 after allegedly colliding with a building in Sun Plaza.
According to the Nashua Police Department, officers responded to 295 Daniel Webster Hwy. and found that Hall had driven into a snowbank, in an alleged attempt to flee the area.
Police also learned that the impact of Hall’s vehicle into the building caused a restaurant employee to be severely burned by cooking oil.
Hall has been charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated collision with serious injury, conduct after an accident with injury and DUI.
Hall was released on a $500 cash bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on March 26.
Under state law, if convicted, she could face up to 14 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $9,200 in fines.
