Nashua woman arrested in Hudson drug bust

HUDSON – Florence Alleyne, 44, of Nashua, was taken into custody on March 9 after drugs were reportedly found in her vehicle.
According to the Hudson Police Department, at 5:51 p.m., an officer stopped Alleyne on Derry Street for not having a front license plate. After conducting a records check, the officer found that Alleyne was wanted by the Nashua Police Department.
During the investigation, police allegedly recovered a bag of suspected cocaine from the vehicle.
Alleyne has been charged with possession of a controlled drug and transporting drugs in a motor vehicle.
She is scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on April 7.
Under state law, if convicted, Alleyne could face up to eight years in prison, up to five years of probation, having her driver’s license suspended for up to two years and $27,000 in fines.
