United Way to host beginner-friendly workshop on online platforms

By Staff | Mar 9, 2026

NASHUA – The United Way of Greater Nashua will host a free, beginner-friendly workshop on online platforms on March 24.

The workshop will be held at the YMCA of Greater Nashua, 24 Stadium Dr. from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Online registration is available at https://unitedwaynashua.org/digital-literacy.

Offered as part of the organization’s Confident Online series, the session will help participants feel more comfortable navigating online services and managing the tools they use every day.

Designed for all experience levels, the workshop will introduce simple, practical ways to use devices more confidently–from getting started with online platforms to keeping subscriptions organized and under control.

Thanks to the support of sponsors including Comcast, the Confident Online series helps ensure that digital-literacy education is accessible to everyone in the Greater Nashua community.

Workshop topics will include:

-Low-cost options for accessing the internet

-What online and streaming platforms are and how to use them on televisions, tablets and computers

-Simple strategies for managing subscriptions and avoiding unnecessary charges

-Where to access free online and entertainment resources, including those available through local public libraries

“Everyone deserves to feel confident using online services,” said Sara Ceaser, director of Volunteer and Community Engagement. “This workshop provides clear, friendly guidance so participants can use their devices and online platforms with ease.”
