NASHUA – Diane “Dee” Cifra, manager of Citizens Bank at Trafalgar Square in Nashua and a veteran employee with 36 years of tenure with the company, is celebrating her “Credo Champion” award, one of the highest honors earned by Citizens Bank colleagues who consistently live the bank’s values for the benefit of customers, colleagues and communities.

“I’m incredibly grateful for this recognition and for the colleagues and customers who inspire me every day,” said Dee. “I’m proud to do the work at Citizens that puts people first and to be part of a team that’s committed to delivering positive, trusted experiences for every customer we serve.”

Each year, the Credo Champion award process begins with peer nominations, inviting colleagues across the extensive enterprise to commend one another through a recognition platform.

Approximately 300 colleagues are chosen annually, representing teams and roles across the organization, one that maintains 1,100 branches in 14 states throughout New England, the Mid-Atlantic and the Midwest.

Credo Champions are honored each spring at an annual recognition event, where they are celebrated by senior leaders and executives for their contributions and commitment to living the Credo.

Klajdi Cenolli, Citizens’ retail regional manager for New England North, noted that Dee’s recognition spotlighted emphasis on her leadership, mentorship, and her unwavering commitment to her customers and community.

“Dee leads with heart and integrity, and it shows in how she serves customers, supports her colleagues, and represents Citizens in our community,” said Cenolli. “Her Credo Champion recognition reflects the positive impact she makes every day and the example she sets for all of us.”
