Hudson woman arrested following domestic dispute

HUDSON — Jessica Speidel, 37, of Hudson, was taken into custody on Feb. 5 following a family dispute that allegedly turned physical.
According to the Hudson Police Department, at 8:24 p.m., officers responded to a home on Central Street where Speidel was reported to be intoxicated and “actively assaulting family members.”
After interviewing Speidel’s family, police determined that an argument had escalated into a physical confrontation. Officers were allegedly told that Speidel struck and pushed a family member several times. They were also reportedly told that Speidel grabbed a child from behind to prevent her from moving.
Speidel became combative when police attempted to arrest her and allegedly kicked a supervising officer.
She has been charged with four counts of domestic violence – simple assault, two counts of resisting arrest/detention, two counts of simple assault on a police officer and endangering the welfare of a child.
Speidel was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Feb. 6.
Under state law, if convicted, she could face up to nine years in prison and up to $18,000 in fines.
