Sex offender fails to report changes in residency

NASHUA – Jai Boyer, 46, of Nashua, was taken into custody on Jan. 23 for not updating his registration information as a sex offender.

According to the Nashua Police Department, on Dec. 17, 2025, officers were informed that Boyer had failed to report two changes in his residency after moving to Nashua from another state.

He has been charged with two counts of duty to report and was held on preventive detention pending his arraignment in Nashua District Court on Jan. 26.

Under state law, if convicted, Boyer could face up to 30 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $8,000 in fines.
