Nashua Police nab noncompliant sex offender

NASHUA – Adam Egerton, 30, of Nashua, was taken into custody on Jan. 21 for not updating his registration information as a sex offender.
According to the Nashua Police Department, on Jan. 15, officers were informed that Egerton had failed to report two changes in his employment.
Egerton was charged with two counts of change of registration information; duty to inform.
Egerton was held on a Probation/Parole Detainer and was arraigned at the 9th Circuit District Division Nashua Court on January 22.
Under state law, if convicted, Egerton could face up to 14 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $8,000 in fines.
