Nashua woman charged with domestic violence

NASHUA – Louielyn Martos, 20, of Nashua, was taken into custody on Jan. 12 in connection with a domestic violence incident.
According to the Nashua Police Department, officers responded to a domestic dispute in which Martos allegedly threatened her male partner with a knife. During the investigation, police also learned that Martos had struck the victim during the dispute.
She has been charged with criminal threatening with a deadly weapon-domestic violence and simple assault-domestic violence.
Louielyn Martos was held without bail and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Jan. 12.
Under state law, if convicted, she could face up to eight years in prison, up to five years of probation and up to $6,000 in fines.
