CONCORD – New Hampshire Federal Credit Union is grateful to New Hampshire’s veterans and military families for the sacrifices they make to protect our freedoms.

To thank them for their service this holiday season, the credit union is delivering critical support to several area programs aimed at supporting our nation’s heroes.

“We recognize that our freedom is built on the sacrifices of these brave men, women and their families,” said an NHFCU spokesperson. “Giving back is the least we can do to thank them for their selflessness. We hope these contributions bring a bit of holiday cheer and support to our local heroes.”

NHFCU is proud to support the following initiatives this holiday season:

Meals of Thanks: Supporting local veterans and their families with holiday meals.

Rock 101’s Lend a Helping Can: Contributing to the annual food drive to help those in need across the community.

New Hampshire National Guard Grocery Gift Card Program: Providing grocery gift cards to active members of the National Guard to help during the holidays.

The Salvation Army Food Bank (Concord): Aiding local social services and food banks to fight hunger in the local community.

Liberty House: Supporting this Manchester-based organization which provides a safe, substance-free housing community for formerly homeless veterans.

Manchester VA Medical Center: Contributing donations to help the health care and daily needs of veterans receiving care at the facility.

NHFCU encourages community members to join them in giving back. Several organizations are looking for volunteers and/or donations. Interested individuals can contact them directly or visit the the following links:
