Nashua Community Power announces spring and summer electricity supply rates
NASHUA — Nashua Community Power recently announced the electric supply rate products effective for the spring-summer 2026 rate cycle.
These rates apply from Feb. 1 through July 31, 2026 and will appear on customer bills starting with the first meter reading in February 2026. The Nashua residential default rate will be 14.663 cents/kilowatt hour.
Customers enrolled in Nashua Community Power will automatically remain on Granite Basic, the default product, unless they choose to opt up to a higher renewable option or opt out of the program. Eversource does not offer renewable or carbon free options.
Eversource has proposed a residential supply rate of 11.3 cents per kWh, which is 3.3 cents lower than the Granite Basic rate offered through Nashua Community Power.
For a household using 650 kWh per month, the difference could result in a savings of about $21 per month if enrolled in the Eversource supply rate instead of Nashua Community Power.
Participation in Nashua Community Power is voluntary and customers may opt out at any time with no penalties.
Customers can opt back in by visiting the Customer Portal or calling Nashua Community Power customer service at 1-866-603-7697.
Nashua Community Power will offer four electricity supply products during the spring-summer rate cycle.
Customers may opt out or get additional information by visiting the Customer Portal at https://www.communitypowernh.gov/community/nashua or by calling Nashua Community Power Customer Service at 1-866-603-7697.
