Two Hudson suspects arrested in narcotics investigation

HUDSON – Kenneth Eustate, 40, Hudson, was taken into custody on Dec. 11 in connection with a months-long narcotics investigation.
According to the Hudson Police Department, on Oct. 30, officers and federal law enforcement officials searched a Hudson residence and seized unknown quantities of methamphetamine, fentanyl, prescription medications and firearms.
During the search, officers located Eustate and arrested him on warrants charging him with the sale of controlled drugs and a failure to appear from Hillsborough County Superior Court. He was also charged with multiple counts of being a felon in possession of a deadly weapon.
He was arraigned in Nashua District Court on Oct. 31 and was ordered to be held on preventive detention.
Under state law, if convicted, Eustate could face approximately 37 years in prison, approximately five years of probation and approximately $504,000 in fines.

Karyn Makela, 41, of Hudson, was taken into custody on Dec. 3 in connection with the same investigation. She was charged with the sale of controlled drugs and two counts of breach of bail. At the time of her arrest, Makela was reportedly found to be in possession of fentanyl and methamphetamine.
She was arraigned in Nashua District Court on Dec. 4 and was ordered to be held on preventive detention.
Under state law, if convicted, Makela could face up to 32 years in prison and up to $504,000 in fines.
