NASHUA – Gate City Casino recently celebrated the opening of its Aristocrat Lounge, the first of its kind in New Hampshire.
The Nov. 17 ribbon-cutting ceremony marked a “major reconfiguration” of the gaming floor, which includes the addition of more than 300 video lottery terminals. VLTs use random numbers to determine payouts rather than using the results of historic horse races. This method results in additional “chance, real-time outcomes.”
Some of the new VLT games include Cash Express Legend, Spooky Link, Buffalo Ultimate Stampede, Dragon Link and Whisker Wheels.
“Given the immense popularity of many of Aristocrat Gaming’s titles, we are thrilled to bring the first Aristocrat Lounge in New Hampshire to life for our guests at Gate City Casino,” said General Manager Andrew Gentile. “The Aristocrat Lounge is an important part of the reconfiguration of our gaming floor with VLTs so that our guests can have more of a dynamic gaming machine experience.”
Delaware North, which owns Gate City, has had great success with similar Aristocrat Lounges at the Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack and the Mardi Gras Casino and Resort, both in West Virginia.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Gate City Casino team to introduce the first Aristocrat Lounge in the state,” said Kurt Gissane, chief revenue officer of Aristocrat Gaming. “This has been a truly collaborative effort and we can’t wait to see the continued excitement of players as they can play all their favorite Aristocrat titles in one vibrant, centralized destination.”
Gate City has been operating in Nashua since 2000 when it was known as Boston Billiard Club and Casino. The venue was acquired by Delaware North in 2022 and was rebranded as Gate City Casino the following year. In December 2024, the casino received the Employer Recognition Award by New England Donor Services for supporting the family of 39-year-old Milford resident Daniel Decoteau, who died on Aug. 6, 2021, from a traumatic brain injury. In May of this year, Gate City was named the Best Casino in New Hampshire by Casinos.com.
