City woman charged with domestic violence

NASHUA – Suzanne Jalbert, 57, of Nashua, was taken into custody on Nov. 5 in connection with a domestic violence incident.
According to the Nashua Police Department, the male victim told officers that Jalbert became intoxicated, assaulted him and reportedly threatened him with a knife.
The weapon was later recovered and Jalbert was arrested at the scene.
She has been charged with four counts of domestic violence-simple assault and domestic violence-criminal threatening.
She was held on preventative detention and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Nov. 6.
Under state law, if convicted, Jalbert could face up to 11 years in prison, up to five years of probation and up to $12,000 in fines.
