NASHUA — The Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce recently announced that Earl S. Prolman has been selected as the 2025 Citizen of the Year.

“Earl’s impact on Greater Nashua is immeasurable,” said chamber President and CEO Wendy Hunt. “His lifelong dedication to service, leadership, and philanthropy truly embodies what it means to be a Citizen of the Year.”

Prolman will be honored at the Chamber’s 97th Annual Gala and Citizen of the Year Celebration on Nov. 12 at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, 2200 Southwood Dr.

For more than half a century, Prolman has exemplified leadership, generosity and commitment to Greater Nashua. Through his quiet acts of service and philanthropy, he has played an instrumental role in strengthening many of the region’s most vital nonprofit organizations.

A distinguished businessman, Prolman has been a member of New York Life’s Million Dollar Roundtable for more than 50 years and has consistently achieved the organization’s prestigious Top of the Table honor. His dedication to community service extends far beyond his professional achievements. Prolman is a trustee and 60-plus-year member of the Greater Nashua YMCA, a founder and principal donor of the New Hampshire Make-A-Wish Foundation, a longtime member of the Nashua Rotary Club and the 2014 Rotarian of the Year as well as a major donor and multiple Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International. Additionally, he is an active member and benefactor of Temple Beth Abraham.
