Community partnership offers New Memory Café series
NASHUA – A new community partnership, led by the United Way of Greater Nashua, is launching a series of Memory Cafés.
These free monthly gatherings are designed for people living with memory loss and their care partners. Each café provides a welcoming, stigma-free space to connect with others, share experiences and enjoy meaningful programming together.
Participants can look forward to light refreshments, friendly conversation and engaging activities that support social connection and well-being.
“Memory Cafés help create community for those affected by memory loss, a place where people can feel understood, valued and supported,” said United Way President Michael Apfelberg. “We’re proud to work alongside our partners to bring these opportunities to Nashua residents.”
The Memory Cafés will take place three times each month at the following locations:
First Tuesday: St. Joseph Hospital Senior Resource Center, 460 Amherst St. from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
Second Wednesday: Nashua Senior Activity Center, 70 Temple St. from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Second Saturday: YMCA of Greater Nashua, 24 Stadium Dr. from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Advance registration is required to ensure a comfortable and personalized experience for all participants.
The Greater Nashua Memory Café Partnership includes the United Way of Greater Nashua, Nashua Senior Activity Center, YMCA of Greater Nashua, St. Joseph Hospital, Greater Nashua Mental Health, Southern New Hampshire Health and Gateways Community Services.
