City announces Building Community Ward by Ward series

By Staff | Oct 7, 2025

NASHUA — The city recently announced its Building Community Ward by Ward series, a continuation of efforts to strengthen neighborhood connections and elevate resident voices.

The series will take place in October, November and December to best accommodate community participation in all nine wards.

Each session will focus on key topics identified during the Community Conversation held at the Nashua Public Library in May: Health & Safety, Transportation, Our Children, Housing and Affordability and Our Environment. The Nashua Sketchbook, capturing that conversation, is available at https://marekbennett.com/2025/05/02/nhh-nashua/.

The event schedule is as follows:

Wards 4, 5 and 6

Oct. 27 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

City Hall, 229 Main St.

Wards 1, 2 and 3

Nov. 7 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Nashua High School North, 8 Titan Way

Wards 7, 8 and 9

Dec. 5 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Arlington Street Community Center, 36 Arlington St.

Residents must register to attend by visiting the Arlington Street Community Center webpage at https://www.asccnashua.com/; scroll down and select the event poster under “Latest News” on the homepage. Each date has its own unique registration link. If you are unsure of which ward you live in, please call the Mayor’s Office for assistance.

Select divisions of the city administration will be present to answer questions and inform residents about services and programs relevant to the topics we will be covering.

Thanks to funding from the Community Development Finance Authority, each event will offer food and interpretation services in Spanish, Portuguese, Swahili, French, Arabic and American Sign Language, ensuring inclusive access for all residents.

Families with young children are welcome. For more information, please contact the Mayor’s Office at 603-589-3263 or NashuaMayor@NashuaNH.gov. The Arlington Street Community Center can be reached at asccnashua@gmail.com.
