NASHUA – Santo Martinez Payero, 50, of Nashua, was taken into custody on Aug. 19 in connection with an incident involving indecent exposure and lewdness last month.

According to the Nashua Police Department, officers received a report on July 8 from a woman stating that her daughter had spent an evening with Martinez Payero, who was known by her family. During that time, Martinez Payero allegedly exposed himself to the girl.

During the investigation, detectives with the Domestic Violence Unit discovered that Martinez Payero had reportedly subjected the girl to pornography as well.

He has been charged with indecent exposure and lewdness as well as exposing minors to harmful materials.

Martinez Payero was released on $500 cash bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Sept. 24.

Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to eight years in prison, up to five years of probation and up to $6,000 in fines.
