United Way announces three fall fundraisers

By Staff | Aug 15, 2025

NASHUA –The United Way of Greater Nashua invites the community to join three fundraisers this fall that combine fun and philanthropy: Skydive United on Sept. 20, the Poker Hand Pub Crawl (date to be announced) and Care-E-Oke on Nov. 8.

For the adventurous, Skydive United offers a unique opportunity to jump out of a plane while raising money to end youth homelessness. Now in its sixth year, the event supports the United Way’s Community Safety Net Fund – a fund that helps neighbors of all ages, from kids to seniors, get the essentials they need when life throws them a curveball. It supports programs for food, housing, health and more, so no one falls through the cracks.

Last year’s event raised nearly $30,000. Teams from Nashua Fire Rescue and the Nashua Police Department are expected to participate. Sponsors supporting the event include St. Joseph Hospital, Gate City Casino, Bar Harbor Bank and Trust, Northeast Delta Dental and Fully Promoted of Southern New Hampshire.

Enjoy a night out while helping your neighbors during the United Way’s second annual Poker Hand Pub Crawl. Participants will visit five downtown Nashua venues, collecting playing cards with drink purchases. The best poker hand at the end wins a cash prize. All proceeds benefit United Way programs focused on education, health and financial stability.

Registration is $25 and includes event entry, a free drink, a map of participating locations and chances to win raffle prizes. The event is expected to be held in November or in early-December.

Show off your singing skills or cheer on your favorite performers at Care-E-Oke, a karaoke fundraiser hosted at the Nashua Center for the Arts. Now in its third year, this lively event benefits our community safety net grants which support local nonprofits and direct programs provided by the United Way.
