Londonderry man charged in fatal Hall Road crash

LONDONDERRY – Ryan Dooley, 23, of Londonderry, was taken into custody on July 24 following a fatal car crash at 63 Hall Rd.

According to the Londonderry Police Department, officers arrived at the scene at 6:36 p.m. and found a crash involving a 2022 Honda Civic and a 2009 Ford F-150. They also found that the passenger and driver of the Honda were trapped.

The Londonderry Fire Department was later able to free both of them. The driver was taken to Elliot Hospital in Manchester and the passenger was flown to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

The driver remained in critical but stable condition; however, the passenger was later pronounced dead.

According to police, Dooley, who was driving the Ford, did not have any apparent injuries and reportedly showed signs of intoxication.

Dooley has been charged with negligent homicide, negligent homicide-DUI, aggravated driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated, reckless conduct with a deadly weapon and reckless operation.

He was held on preventative detention and was scheduled to be arraigned in Derry District Court on July 25.

Under state law, if convicted, Dooley could face up to 43 years in prison, up to 25 years of probation and up to $21,200 in fines.

The crash remains under investigation.
