Nashua man charged with DWI

HUDSON – Ethan Nicholson, 24, of Nashua, was taken into custody on July 3 for allegedly driving while intoxicated.
According to the Hudson Police Department, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Officer Brian Davenport saw Nicholson traveling westbound in the area of Derry Street and Robinson Road.
Nicholson also allegedly crossed the center yellow line to pass another vehicle in an effort to evade Davenport. At the time, Nicholson was reportedly clocked at more than 70 miles per hour.
Hewas ultimately stopped and charged with aggravated DWI, DWI, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and disobeying an officer.
Under state law, if convicted, Nicholson could face up to one year in jail, having his driver’s license suspended for up to 60 days and up to $3,100 in fines.
Nicholson was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on July 17.
